The Partners
The CAPS Project was created by two organisations; The Camden Clean Air Initiative and PPL PWR. The combination of skills and knowledge made this the perfect partnership to deliver a project based on technology, community, education, and the environment.
The Camden Clean Air Initiative is a non-profit action group aiming to improve air quality across the Borough of Camden. By working closely with the entire community, including schools, businesses, and residents, as well as the local authority, we provide resources and support alongside our clean air projects.
PPL PWR is a non-profit sustainable education collective made up of volunteers – including students, graduates, engineers, researchers, and entrepreneurs – who promote green innovation, predominantly through interactive workshops in schools, in communities, and at festivals.
Google have funded the Pilot stage and the Growth stage, allowing us to spend the time developing the programme, creating the resources, buying the equipment, and engaging with schools. They have also offered technical support, event space, and volunteers – all of which have been incredibly valuable to CAPS.

The CAPS Project is now run by a dedicated team plus a group of hardworking volunteers.
